Cranberry Blondies

Ingredients:

1 cup (225g) softened butter or margarine
8 large eggs
2 cups (500ml) dark corn syrup
5 pounds (2,268g) pound cake mix
2 1/4 cups (450g) powered sugar
1 cup (250ml) water
2 cups (216g) chopped walnuts
3 cups (525g) Ocean Spray® Sweetened Dried Cranberries
Whipped cream, garnish

Directions:

1. Add butter, eggs, and syrup to mixer bowl.

2. Add cake mix and powdered sugar to bowl. Mix with paddle attachment on low speed while adding water. Add walnuts and sweetened dried cranberries.

3. Scrape down bowl and paddle. Mix one minute on low speed.

4. Pour batter into greased 16" X 24" sheet pan. Bake in 350° F oven for 28-32 minutes, or at 300°F for a convection oven.

5. Add whipped cream and additional sweetened dried cranberries to garnish.

Note: For a more cake-like brownie add additional 1/4 cup water, and an additional 1/4 cup vegetable oil to mix.
