Ingredients:
30.00 % Ocean Spray Frozen Cranberries, whole or sliced 43.00 % apples, peeled, cored and sliced* 15.00 % brown sugar 4.65 % sugar 2.10 % modified food starch** 5.00 % water .25 % Cinnamon, ground * Firm, hard apples, such as Granny Smith, Rome Beauty, Jonathan or Spy ** Staley Rezista
Directions:
1. Disperse starch in water and add to cranberries, apples and sugars. Heat to 90ºC/195ºF and hold for nine minutes, or until starch is fully gelatinized and cranberry skins begin to split.
2. Add cinnamon and fill at or above 80ºC/175ºF or pack and freeze.
3. Cool thoroughly before filling into pie shells.
